You are now in the home of singer/songwriter Carl Henry. I've been called everything from "The Human Jukebox", to "long and tall with a voice beckoning from the deep bottom land". Well, I'll tell you a few things: I'm still American, still puttin' my boots on one foot at a time, and I still try to do the very best performance I can anytime and anywhere. This is my Dawghouse..home away from home for this "ol dawg", and I hope you enjoy sniffin' around!

I work in a multitude of ways, as a solo act, a duo, and also with my four piece band, The Carl Henry Band. I was the solo/duo winner of the 2004 Detroit Blues Challenge, finalist in the 2009 and 2010 Challenges. I was nominated 'Best Blues Instrumentalist' in the 2004 Detroit Music Awards, and I am a proud member of the Detroit Blues Society.
